We would like to welcome you to our traditional Normandy cottage, situated in a peaceful location on the edge of the village of St Hilaire du Harcouët in the southern part of the county of Manche, Normandy, close to Brittany.
Set in two acres of gardens, open grassland and private woodland La Charmelais is surrounded by vast green countryside with a panoramic view on the valley. At one time La Charmelais was a working farm consisting of the original Normandy Farmhouse, a barn and stabling for the bull. The cottage is set around a secluded courtyard with ample parking. It have a modern, clean and cosy interior. The area makes it an ideal place to holiday with family or friends. MONT SAINT MICHEL is only a short drive away.
The gite sleeps four to six people. The owners speak english and the location is 1h 20m away from Brittany and Irish Ferries (Ouistreham, St Malo or Cherbourg).

St Brice de Landelles, SE of St Hilaire du Harcouet (shops, bars, restaurants), 18km S of Mortain (town, historic abbey), 25km N of Fougeres (fortress town and medieval castle), 32km E of Avranches (large cathedral town, shops, restaurants), 40km E of Mont St Michel (famous tourist attraction).
Close to the holiday cottage all stores and shops five minutes away, tennis, very nice swimming pool, horse riding. Amusement park, fishing at lake Vezin, cinema, restaurants, cafés, open markets. All you need to enjoy your holiday.
